ICW NE Meeting Minutes – August 17, 2022
CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL
6:08pm – Tracey, Heather, Nick M., Dena, Rachelan, Lou
MINISTER REPORTS
Autocrat – Tracey
Everything is going well.
Co-autocrat – Rachelan (See activities in Old Business)
War and Joust
Still waiting on the scenarios from the Imperials.
Robe (A&S) – Heather
Volunteer judges are needed. Heather can commandeer judges from any activity if necessary.
Archery and Thrown
There will be no points planned for thrown weapons. Rabbit and hedgehog targets are needed.
Feast and Boards - Dena
Dena gave approval for Tracey to ask for a volunteer to specifically attend to the beverage service all weekend. Dena will be doing the Sunday lunch. Volunteers for the kitchens are always needed.
Website – Nick
Nick has not been able to add new pages to the website, so everything is posted on the one page.
OLD BUSINESS
Site: Contract and Other Considerations - Tracey
Lou received the funds for the site fee and toilet fee. He will send checks to Tracey, who will hand-deliver them.
Pre-registration
Some members have paid Lou cash.
YouTube Channel
Eryka agreed to set up a YouTube channel and maintain it. Lou is having some trouble with the Google media account.
Schtick
The Duchess has declared war! It will be murder rabbits against hedgehogs. Jessica met with Darren and Rachelan at the Investiture.
Site Tokens – Rachelan and Heather
Rachelan and David need to start the tokens and then hand them to Heather for completion. Rachelan will also print and laminate rabbit and hedgehog tokens so attendees’ allegiance can be identified.
Additions to Website – Nick
Nick added the emergency locations information but not the hotel information.
NEW BUSINESS
Social Media Promotion
Tracey asked for other members to post promotions on social media, especially Facebook. Duvi agreed to do this, using information from the event website.
FOR THE GOOD OF THE WAR
Encourage people to pre-register on all group FB pages.
